3/23/10 – Home at last
Mom and I woke up bright and early Tuesday morning to head back for one last breeding. Everything went really well and we were back on the road by 10:00. I dropped mom off in Anderson at 6:00 and arrived home to Sacramento at 8:45. It was a long drive but it was worth it to be able to bring her home with me.
Now, the waiting begins. Assuming the breeding takes, the countdown starts on March 23rd and we head towards 63-65 days. Which takes us right up to the week before Memorial Day. I will be keeping a close eye on my girl to check for behavioral and physical changes. We should see some signs within 3 weeks or so. I will continue to blog her progress.
I will take weekly photos to show how she is growing and will post them here. I have started a photo album for this entire process and will add all new photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/reneeviehmann/sets/72157623660779624/ Sorry, but I won’t be posting breeding or birthing photos publically. I know, you’re disappointed, no doggy porn for you. :).
Friendly Reminder: I am not responsible for placement of the puppies. For information about puppy availability, contact Liz Fairlee of Fairhaven Weimaraners
This is so fun Renee I can’t wait to watch her progress.
