Day #7

Well it’s been 7 days since the 3rd breeding.  Still no signs of pregnancy (that I can tell).  She doesn’t seem to be gaining weight and as much as I ask her, she just won’t tell me if there are babies growing in there!  Sheesh!

This week, we’ve had a guest.  Bella the GWP (German Wirehair Pointer) is staying with us while her parents (Holly & Cayle) are vacationing in Florida so seeing any changes in Roxie’s behavior or mood is hard to do.  So far, all she wants to do is stick her booty in poor Bella’s face or “play”.  Another sheesh!

It’s definitely been interesting having two dogs in the house.  I have forgotten what it’s like to teach a dog the house rules; don’t chase the cat, don’teat the cat, don’t torture the cat.  Learn to use the doggy door.  Eat your breakfast/dinner.   Don’t go through the screen door.  No wrestling in the house.  Ya know, all that stuff!  But, Bella is such a sweet dog, Cayle & Holly are very lucky.
