Happy Birthday to Miss Roxie! Today is Roxie's 3rd birthday. My how the time flys!

Day 14

In addition, it is day 14 since her last breeding.   There has been no change in her appearance since last week.  The experienced people keep telling me that I won’t see anything until around 30 days.  Geesh! Another two weeks?  This is killing me!  Here is her day 14 photo.  See, she looks the same.  Isn’t she a good girl that she will stack and stand there while I run back to take the picture? 

I took her training on Monday.  She wasn’t her usual intense self and didn’t really hunt very hard and when she came on a bird, she didn’t point intesnsely.   So maybe her hormones are out of whack?  Maybe she’s telling me that she wants to be a mama and not a hunter right now?  Who knows.  So until we know different, we will just work on retreiving training.
