Tate went to go see the puppies on Wednesday and take Roxie back to see her babies.  By then, her milk had filled her up quite a bit and she was READY to go let the puppies feed.  She was very anxious to get in to see the puppies and release some of the pressure.  As you moms out there know, when you’re full, you’re FULL!!  I knew she was full by looking at her and when she layed down, she dripped.  My job was to keep massaging them and when I did, they squirted me.  EEWW!! 

As you can see in the slideshow, the puppies were happy to ablige Mama’s need to feed them.  They all but covered her looking for space and a spare nipple.  Poor Roxie…  but I’m sure she felt SO much better afterward!  She is back home now and the milk production has definitely slowed.  We’ll go back on Saturday when Liz will get a good look at her and decide whether to let the puppies feed again. 

The puppies are getting more outside time now.  I can’t wait to see them again on Saturday and be able to play in the grass with them. 

EVALUATION ALERT!  The puppies will be evaluated for both field and conformation on Monday, June 12th at my house in the Sacramento area.  Roxie and Lyric’s trainer, Brad Higgins will come with some birds to test for birdiness at 10:00 am.  Debbie Hopkins of Top Hat Weimaraners will be there at 12:00 to evaluate conformation.  If you are interested in coming by to watch and play with them, please let me know.
