“Alone” Training
Just Weimaraners has added a new article about the importance of training your puppy to have some “alone” time while also crate training them. Weimaraners are amazing companions, we often refer to them as “velcro” dogs, meaning they follow you everywhere you go. In a well adjusted dog, this is OK however if they become too dependent on you, they may suffer from separation anxiety which can lead to destructive behavior.

I admit it. I smirked a bit as I read the email. The poor lady was left with an impression that the Weimaraner was pretty much the most desctructive breed on earth, and that they need LOTS of exercise. LOTS.
And they can’t be left alone.
AT ALL.
EVER.
