Day 22 – 1/3 of the way there!
Day 22
So, we are 1/3 of the way through the (suspected) pregnancy. Only 4 days, 20 hrs 1 minute away from the ultrasound. Yes, I said ultrasound! I have decided to keep the ultrasound appointment next Tuesday and find out officially whether or not Roxie is “with children”. They may not be able to tell me how many are in there, but at least I will know for sure there are SOME in there.
As for Roxie, she’s doing just fine. I inspect her belly every few ours and I’m pretty sure she’s annoyed with me for doing so. TOO BAD. I’m pretty sure her belly is getting bigger. It’s starting to fill out but it’s not anything you can see from the stacked photos. I have switched her to Taste of the Wild grain free puppy food. Apparently, it has a lot of the nutrients that a pregnamt mama needs. I also stopped by the pharmacy to pick up some over the counter prenatal vitamins. Ran into an old roomate while in line. Had a hard time explaining that the purchase was not MINE. She’ll start taking those after pregnancy is confirmed. She also gets a treat of an egg a day.
Day 19 Belly Shot

P.S. Note about the day 22 photo, Roxie is usually really good about staying stacked so I can take a photo, but for the last couple of weeks, she’s been slouchy and not so good. This week, I decided to combine her hold the treat on your nose trick and stacking and look at that, her head is up and her neck is straight. I’m gonna have to do this more often!
