We’re Expecting (again)!
After the last series of unfortunate events that was our breeding attempt, I decided to try again on the next cycle which seemed to take FOREVER to get here. She was expected to come into season in October but waited until mid November. However, in perfect Millie fashion the breeding didn’t go as planned. Starting with a live breeding and ending up in surgical insemination. The wait between breeding and ultrasound (25 days) was a little different this time. She actually had (still has) a bit of morning sickness in that she’s not all that interested in eating. I’ve been enticing her with scrambled eggs and chicken broth mixed in with regular food. On Friday, December 30th we went for an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy. Well, pregnancy was DEFINITELY confirmed with seeing 6-7 little walnuts floating around in there. Now, while this is GREAT news, I’m still cautious. There could be more hiding or some could be not viable and not make it. So I anxiously await the puppy x-ray on January 30th to get a more accurate puppy count.
Silly Millie
The papa of this litter is PM’s Wolfgang Pimento Toothpick “Pim”. Pim is a long hair Weimaraner from north west Montana. He’s silly and smart and he loves to run and play in the snow and go skiing with his parents.
