We just got back from the vet and to have an xray done of Roxie’s belly.  And as you can see, it’s pretty full!  Dr. Metzler counts 11 heads/spines and thinks there might be an extra one hiding behind all those other spines.  That’s a whole mess ‘o puppies!  And a whole lotta work!

Dr. Metzler observed that the puppies have already dropped, which I guess is why she is so HUGE compared to last week (plus they are growing a lot).  They were all tucked up in her ribs and now, they’ve dropped lower towards her knees.  She thinks that delivery could be as early as day 58…. Umm that’s TODAY!  Then she said that she’s not THAT ready.  So I will be watching close and not going too far away, just in case.
